Where is your mind really Part 3

Where is your mind really? Part 3.png

When we are in an empowered state we are able to find quiet calm in the face of any storm or uncertainty. We access our authentic power and can navigate our lives simply and with certainty.

Sounds great you say, but how??

The first thing to consider is that you will NOT really ever stop the subconscious mind. It is there to keep you safe and will never let up. What you can however train yourself to do is to put yourself in a state where you are able to quieten the little voice in your head, to be able to act in a way that keeps you feeling safe, certain and still take action and feel empowered.

One of the ways that we connect with what is really happening for us is to access our feelings and emotions. They are the conduit that tell us what is going on in the internal environment and where we are on the scale, from completely scattered to completely centred and in control. Asking ourselves the key questions of what are we feeling and why, will bring the subconscious into the conscious and enable us to get a reality check. Now to do this we need to find the stillness and inner calm to breathe and ask the question.

Then we need to be able to acknowledge the truth in the answers we discover. Many of our clients have learned that the first answer may not be the actual truth, and you may need to ask yourself over and over until the truth is uncovered for you. You know this as you may feel a sense of relief or you may feel that you want to reject the answer entirely, which is likely a core truth. You will have your own individual process around this and with practice you will become skilled at this internal assessment.

Once you understand what is going on for you, then the question of what is the most appropriate action will be a simple one. You will be then acting from a more stable place and you will feel more certain about your next steps.

This process may require you to practice states of calm and stillness to find the clarity you need. Mediation, mindful practice and physical movement are all activities that will support you to do this with greater ease.  Many of our clients report that they also find that having someone in their corner to support this process is also very helpful. No matter how you go about it finding that sense of calm and authentic empowerment it is a very worthwhile process.

As you may know, we are all about integration and action once realisations happen.

So, having been exposed to this 3 part series, here are some powerful action steps to work on today.

1. Find the meditation or mindfulness app or system that works for you.

2. Dedicate daily time (in your actual calendar) to do the meditation or mindfulness process.

3. Review your physical wellbeing. Your movement, your nutrition and your mental health. Find what needs more attention and love and then plan your strategy to improve that.

4. Discover or rediscover your support network. Who can you work with or collaborate with to support you in navigating this time.

Would love to hear from you, and learn about your unique process.
